DB Consulting Group Awarded HUD Neighborhood Networks
Contract Valued Up to $36 Million

DB Consulting Group, Inc. (DB) has been awarded a contract valued up to $36 million over five years to support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Neighborhood Networks Initiative.

Under the contract, DB will perform support services for the Multifamily Housing Neighborhood
Networks Initiative and the Public Housing Neighborhood Networks Program. DB will also perform
information technology services, which include maintenance and development of the Neighborhood Networks Web site and databases. (press release)

Diversified Global Partners (DGP) Team Awarded $200 Million
Contract to Maintain Environmental Data Archive & Distribution Project

Diversified Global Partners JV LLC (DGP), a joint venture between DB Consulting Group, Inc. and Global Science & Technology, Inc. today announced its team has been awarded a contract to develop and maintain the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Comprehensive Large Array-data Stewardship System (CLASS). The contract has a maximum ordering value of $200 million over the potential nine-year period of performance.

“We are delighted that the Department of Commerce and NOAA selected the DGP Team to work with them to fulfill their vision of CLASS,” said DGP Chairman and DB Consulting Group, Inc. President Gerald Boyd, Jr. “CLASS is an outstanding example of a shared resource that serves many stakeholders and reduces the overall cost of archiving petabytes of valuable environmental data. NASA's Glenn Research Center has awarded DB Consulting Group, Inc. a follow-on contract to perform a variety of tasks, including computer science, computer and software engineering, security, networking, application development, and Web services. (press release)

DB's NASA HQ Team Receives Another Excellent Award Fee Score

On April 11, 2008 the DB Consulting Group team that supports the NASA Headquarters contract received its sixth consecutive Award Fee Score over 95% since the contract start in February 2005. The NASA Research and Education Support Services (NRESS) team earned a 97% Award Fee Score for the past 6-month evaluation period, and was lauded by Richard J. Keegan, the NASA Office of Program and Institutional Integration Fee Determination Official: “Congratulations, you are commended for this rating, which is in the ‘Excellent’ range of NASA’s rating scale.”

Customer highlights from DB’s most recent NASA Evaluation Report include the following:

The Contractor passed the December 2007 NASA IT Security Audit with no show stoppers.
Major NSPIRES work was accomplished by delivering the Selection Module.
On February 8, when a Panel Reviewer died (of natural causes) during the Peer Review, the NRESS staff responded immediately and very professionally in handling this situation when everyone else was at a loss. Their performance reflected well on NASA.
There were a number of task plan requests received this period with very short turn around times; the Contractor responded promptly, in much less time than contractually required.
The Contractor saved approximately $60K in waived or lower cancellation fees when NASA cancelled bookings.
The Contractor acquired a new cost system (PMi) that will help improve forecasting of 533M (a NASA monthly financial reporting) projections and cost plan estimates.
The Contractor submitted 12 vouchers and 533M reports (each report is about 1,000 pages) without errors.

On February 7, 2008, African American leaders and organizations responded to the impact of HIV and AIDS in neighborhoods and communities across the nation in the seventh annual observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD). Events encouraged citizens to get educated, get tested, get treated and get involved in the effort to control the HIV/AIDS epidemic that continues to devastate African American communities...(more)
